Your child has the chance to have flute, clarinet or saxophone lessons, but you're not sure where to begin. You want them to succeed, but what if he/she doesn't take to it?

The temptation is to buy the cheapest instrument you can find. Unfortunately cheap instruments are difficult to play, can sound terrible, and will almost certainly discourage your child from playing. Repairing a bad instrument can be costly.
