Beginners often start on a nylon string guitar as they come in a range of sizes to suit all ages, and because their nylon strings are softer on the fingers. If you are after a budget classical guitar, the Valencia is one of our best selling instruments in the store. These guitars come in full sized, 3/4 sized, 1/2 sized and 1/4 sized versions.

If you are planning on playing an electric guitar you'll need an amp and cable in addition to the guitar.
